Again??!!! How many times do we have to go thru this? Last night at about 11.45pm while I was reading in disbelieve that Edward would be stupid enough to leave Bella, and Bella was stupid enough to get involved with Jacob (I mean, vampires are way cooler than werewolves IMHO) the power went out again. Damn you TNB!!! I mean like, yesterday when their technician finally came over, they told us that we had to replace some thingy on the main power board. They sent one of their kroni electrician over and charged RM400. And last night the whole neighborhood didn't have power... again. What is up with that? 3 times within a week is just too much.
My history with TNB has been long and ugly. Imagine having power outage at least once a week for 3 months. There was a time when the entire row of houses on my street, ours included, suddenly had a surge in electricity bills. And I mean way, way too much, like RM600 for that month alone. We already lodged a complaint about the construction site in our housing area that seems to be stealing the electricity illegally but probably because TNB already been paid hush-hush money, they just ignored our complaints. The even had the nerve to tell us to just pay up or the will cut the power to our house. They will investigate our issue further and will rebate back into our account.
Bullshit!
I loathe them from the bottom of my aircond-less soul.

I should've stayed in PD. I regret almost every moment of not staying the extra day. Things have just been going wrong since we got back yesterday. I will proceed to tell my story in a disjointed manner since my brain is a big puddle of mush right now.
As soon as we got home, Baybe was still unloading our stuff from the car and I was watching Syakirah while she watched her TV shows. Suddenly she started crying. Poor thing had an upset stomach. She just wanted to hold on to me and cried. We gave her some medicine, bathed her and put her to sleep. Wahid, the stray cat the we have informally adopted, broke into the house while we were gone and thrashed the kitchen. The bathroom was muddy, it must've rained real hard on Friday or Saturday and flooded the bathroom. Things were pretty settled for a few hours. We went to bed. Syakirah woke up crying at abour 2am. We put her back to sleep and went back to bed. At about 3.45am, I woke up and realized that there was no electricity. Baybe called TNB and reported it. About an hour later, the electricity came back on. When my alarm sounded at 5.20am, no more power - again! WTF?? And it was only our house too. All the other houses already had their power back on. Had to shower in the freezing cold and dress in the dark. Thank God, I didn't end up looking like a homicidal maniac.
I had a feeling about today. *SIGH*
I should have stayed in bed.

Stephanie Meyer's Twilight
I've actually bought Stephanie Meyer's Twilight yesterday. I have yet to determine whether or not I regret it. So far, it's been easy reading. No complicated myth or lore to boggle the mind. I just can't stop thinking that if Anne Rice ever decided to write a Sweet Valley novel, this is what it would be like, Instead of California with all the sun, sea and malls, it features a small town called Forks that always rains and is dark and foggy, and basically is Lestat's favorite vacation getaway ;-P The main character of the story is a girl called Isabella Swan, Bella, who is pale skinned and not athletic at all, and never really fit in with people around. If she doesn't end up being a vampire in some later chapters or book in the series, then I am no judge of vampire stories. But she will. I've read the spoilers - heh.
Nothing challenging so far in the earlier chapters. Will read again later. I might not buy the rest of the books in the series. I love comparing different vampire lores, the classic Bram Stoker's Count Dracula, Anne Rice's sensual vampires, the virus infected Blade and gang (say it with me... Daywalker), Christopher Pike's Aryan vampire, Sita, who happens to be the last one BTW... Why doesn't nobody ever write about Malaysian vampires a.k.a. Pontianak is what I want to know. And toyol. And hantu pocong.
Congratulations Pami <3 Fika!!!

Not such a lucky day after all. My sister, Diana, got involved in accident right in front of Zoul, Jalan Ampang. Came to see her and we later went to Balai Polis Jalan Bandar where I saw that concrete truck that was in that horrific accident at Taman Connaught. Scareeee! My husband thought he still saw a leg dangling from the truck... but it was just some guy sitting in it. Still alive, thanks you very much! I was too scared to take photos of it, in case I manage to capture something I don't wanna see huwaaaa!!!
I know this is probably a little too late...

Profanity warning! Kiddies, close your eyes and hum My Favourite Things (Sound of Music OST)
My house was broken into yesterday, again. This time they thrashed all the bedrooms in the house. We've gotten a little more careful since last time and hid the jewelry baikkk punya but... I just got duit kutu like last week right? I wanted to put that in the bank but thought, 'oh well, it's just for a few days, a week at most, coz I have to renew my roadtax soon'. I put that it my dressing table drawer under some envelopes and angpau-s. How was I supposed to know that of all the fucking luck in the whole motherfucking universe, my house would get broke into on the motherfucking week that I actually keep cash at home?!!! I mean, yes, they took Syakirah's money too, and apparently that amounts to hundreds as well, but I can replace that. It's not like she needs to use the money soon. But I played kutu all year for that money, knowing that I would have it in time to pay for both my cars' road tax and insurance and just because some dick head got it into his brain that he needed to get an extra pair of jeans for Hari Raya, I get my money stolen?!!
Deep calm breaths. Think happy thoughts.
bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens,
brown paper packages tied up with strings,
these are a few of my favorite things
There. All better now. As I was saying, losing the money wasn't even the worst part. The big chopping knife from the kitchen, that was in my clothes hamper in the room where the asshole dropped after he found the cash in my drawer, no doubt. Now I'm so scared to stay home. After the so-called Grissom of Malaysia left after taking a few measly photos and some finger prints, I cleaned up the mess and prepare to go to sleep. As I was cleaning up, I got this tight feeling in my stomach and my heart beat was racing. I keep thinking of things I should do to the house to make it safe or what I sould do in case some idiotic psycho broke into the house while I was there. Should I grab Syakirah and run while my husband tries to fend off the intruder or should I grab baseball bat and pitch in? I keep imagining the worst and prepare myself so that I won't panic if it ever comes to that. Which I hope it won't, Insya-Allah.
I really, really didn't feel like going to work today. I just have this strange feeling, you know? But the best thing to do when confronting tragedies is to just keep busy and get on with it. It takes a while for me to process bad things when they happen to me and keeping busy will keep my mind off things. So, yossshhhh!!! Let's answer calls wooo-hoooooo!!!
Your call has been forwarded...

Aisey! Left my SEK810i phone at home. V-ery luckily I have my old SET610 phone inside my bag somewhere but, battery almost dead. Oh, well. 'Ada guna gak tepon lama tuh' hehehe.
I went to Menara Celcom on saturday to get my money, my duit kutu. No shopping with that money. Both my cars have to renew road tax and insurance this month. And for my Myvi, no NCB or whatever because of the accident. We never claimed from our insurance but because the other party did, so we still cannot get the 10% discount. Totally not fair. I mean, hello? The kid ran into our car and broke his own leg in the process, now we can't get the NCB thing. Not fair.
Anyways, yesterday went to Jakel KL to buy stuff for Hari Raya. S-ooo this is Jakel that everyone talks about. There was so many people there. Probably to shop for Hari Raya too. I bought 6 pairs of cloth yesterday. One my grandmother, one for hubby's grandmother, one for mother in law, one for Baybe and 5m for me and Syakirah to share between us. This Hari Raya, our family theme is white. I was out of ideas. There was so many different patterns and colours and style that I got confuseeeeeddd!!!
Today is a typical busy Monday. Not much time to do anything. Can't even update blog properly or watch House. I'm re-watching season 1 BTW. 5 more minutes of my break time before I descend back into Hell. Halp!!
